The abrasive material comes into contact with water inside the tank, is pushed by water pressure into the piping below the tank, and is extruded in a tokoroten-style with only water between the particles, then carried by the blast air. At the moment the wet particles collide with the workpiece, they release a water film in a parachute-like manner to suppress dust generation, leaving most of the moisture on the workpiece while the abrasive bounces back in a semi-dry state.
